Launched in 2014 in the UK, Veganuary is now celebrated by hundreds of thousands of people all around the world.

That’s really the call to action. Veganuary is all about adding more fruits, grains and vegetables to your plate and that’s what Black Girls Eat is all about. So here are 7 easy steps to make the most of this month:

Try a new meal at a restaurant
Reach for a cookbook
Be kind to yourself.
